Canopy Choirs

Canopy Choirs are a new 5 piece experimental band from Sydney. They have just started to playing together, thrown a few demos together and writing songs which create an indie alternative sound which is definitely worth a listen.

They have just landed their first gig at World Bar April 9Th and I will definitely be there as song 'Closed Curtain' as got me intrigued for more!

Definitely hit up their page for their chilled yet innovative and fresh tune. I hope they put more songs up soon!

My Wedding Dress

Found this photo on http://www.wetbehindthears.com/ and it is immaculate.

The structural layout of the dress emphasises how modern but such a classic style the wedding dress is. The photographer definitely catches the beauty and sophistication of the lady and the dress. I love how it is so girly with fantastic detailing with fabrics and attention to detail.

Any lady would be amazing in this dress on her special day.

Dream Boots

When I first saw these I literally jaw dropped.

These are from the Maurie and Eve Collection, perfect to
go with any winter outfit or even a girly summer dress to grunge things up a bit for an edgier look.

The sexy ladylike biker boots are definately into trend this season with lookalikes seen on catwalks such as Balenciaga and Sam Edelman.

These are definately going on my wishlist.

Jungle Fever

This was the first Nathan Jenden Collection after leaving DVF recently, but with the support still there as DVF herself sat front row and centre.

This Fall Collection was inspired by "church ladies in the jungle" Jenden explains.
His key word used "constructed" was relevant as the jackets tailoring and pencil skirts were kept simple, with edgy touches of zebra, leopard and hyper prints were present and added the final signature touches to the collection.

Many ruffles pieces were mixed with high electric colours and strong grey cuts creating experimental sculptures, geometric patterns with touches of femininity.

Some of my favourite artistic looks

Whitney Port Rockin' Target

Fashionista Whitney Port has been in the spotlight ever since being Lauren Conrad's co-worker in 'The Hills' to starring in her own reality TV Show 'The City' and recently turned fashion designer 'Whitney Eve'.

To promote her new fashion label, Whitney will be front row at the Australia's Target Rocks Red Market show at the Melbourne L'Oreal Fashion Festival next Saturday 20th March .

This fashion show will en corporate the aesthetics of boy grunge with a twist of urban city glamour so lots of 'metallics (rhinestones and sequins), leather jackets, neutral colours, and stripes' for this Autumn & Winter season.

The best part is that the fashion show is FREE so anyone can attend!

The Year of the Tiger

Yes it is the chinese year of the tiger, but also a new brand called Tighttigers has just released its first collection of their women's clothing line. It will be released in April bringing new alternative pieces to the modern urban jungle world of fashion.

Many graphic, bold print statements and colourful sequins are used to make any capes, hoodies and tights uber styish with a funky energetic photoshoot to go along with their youthful and attitude trend.

The Out of the Cage Winter 2010 Collection is cast to be a hit for the electric futuristic look of fashion as they set to take 'world domination'.

These are some of my favourite picks from their collection:
